Our Work

Who We Are

The Brazen Project is a Colorado-based, youth-led initiative to end abortion stigma on college campuses. Our work is rooted in and informed by the lived experiences of birthing people; we reject the narrative that abortion is a political issue and affirm that abortion is a deeply personal decision that birthing people should be able to make for themselves.

We are unapologetically pro-abortion and believe anyone who wants an abortion, who needs an abortion should be able to get one for any reason in an affordable and timely manner, without guilt or shame, regardless of gender, race, physical or mental ability, or socioeconomic status. We envision a world where abortion is universally accessible and acceptable.

What We Do

Ending abortion stigma starts with talking about abortion, boldly and without shame. Our work is centered around starting, engaging in, and facilitating peer-to-peer conversations about abortion. Our work includes tabling on campus, hosting educational events, and generally providing a pro-abortion voice and safe space on campus.
